Project, Opportunity for a Handyman

The GMW Lake Eildon Houseboat License has been transferred to a newly built houseboat.

Consequently, Howqua is sitting in the Lake Eildon Services Yard awaiting a new direction.

Howqua was originally built in the 1970’s and underwent a major refurbishment in 2012.

Howqua has a good sized front deck; front lounge with side kitchen and a rear lounge. The duckboard has been fixed to the rear deck to provide a large entertainment space.

Upstairs there is a relaxation space with outdoor dining and BBQ/Kitchenette. There is a full set of clear screens for this area which could be repaired.

Howqua comes with all the equipment, furniture and fittings as listed in the Sales Information Sheet. This includes an electric fridge/freezer and an electric bar fridge. There is a reasonable sized Inverter, a good solar charge controller and Gel Batteries to supply power to these appliances.

With some relatively minor works Howqua could be transported to another waterway. However, she could be returned to Lake Eildon if a GMW Houseboat License was purchased. HCHS could assist with this.

Howqua is generally in good condition and for a handy person with a bit of energy and a little love Howqua could make a great entry level houseboat holiday home.
