In houseboat terms, many people have been involved with houseboats over many years and have seen them evolve. Using all this knowledge and expertise to then put together their vision that will be of the highest quality and will be respected as a leader for many years to come, their Legend.

Legend was built using the knowledge, experience, innovation, expertise, and passion of the owners. They wanted a luxury holiday home that would embrace the best of design, appearance, functionality, and would be a leader in the houseboat industry whilst remaining relevant for years to come.

The owners engaged Status Luxury Houseboats and a team of architects, designers, and stylists to create this, Legend.

Legend captures your attention, at first sight, with its stunning appearance with all levels of the houseboat integrated in the design with the polished fibreglass and tinted glass walls and windows.

Then when you walk on board, the craftmanship, the style, the décor, you can feel the quality.

At water level there are 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The front view Master Bedroom has a Queen Bed and Full Ensuite. The second bedroom, come front lounge, adjacent to the Helm, with the sliding moveable walls grabs your attention. All bedrooms have ducted R/C Air-Conditioning.

To the rear is a great relaxation space with TV, entertainment cupboard with bar fridge and lounge. This incorporates good houseboat design as it provides a second space for the other generation. This space opens up with sliding tinted glass stacker doors to embrace the spacious rear deck with large duckboard. There are side boat boards and hydraulic jet ski lifters as you would expect.

On the first storey level, this is the centre of the houseboat in so many ways as the design embraces the magnificent beauty of Lake Eildon whilst providing a luxury relaxation living and dining space. The gas log fire and large TV are a feature as you relax on the lounges.

The kitchen with the stone benchtops providing plenty of servery space has all modern appliances including integrated Fisher & Paykel twin door fridge/freezers.

Enjoy a cocktail at the Bar Servery.

Relax on the front deck and sip on some bubbles.

Then there is the rear deck to sit back on the couches and take in the magnificent scenery looking down the Lake or maybe watching the sun dance on the ripples on the water at sunset. You will not tire of these views.

Want to relax in the sun, then head up to the top deck where you will find large day beds and sun lounges. You can sit at the bar and sip champagne or a can of VB and feel like you are on top of the world.

As you would expect, Legend has the latest in Technology. With the Solar Electrics there is a top of the range Selectronic SP PRO Series Inverter/Charge System; a Fronius Solar Charge Controller; new Lithium Batteries, all fed by 20 Solar Panels. There are backed up by a large Onan Marine Diesel 17.5kva Generator.

Further, Legend has twin Mercruiser 4.5lt 250 V6 Motors which are assisted by front and rear thrusters to provide manoeuvrability.

Legend was out of the water in late 2023 with the pontoons serviced and the motors and legs fully serviced as well. HCHS has photos on file of the underneath of the houseboat taken at this time. A new GMW Compulsory Houseboat Inspection Report was issued.

All this means Legend is as good as a new houseboat with all the big ticket maintenance costs under control for around 5 years.

Legend lives up to her name as a stunning luxury high quality holiday home on the water. With all the maintenance up to date, she is as good as new.
