Domain was built in 1990 by Ted Baldock; Ted had a reputation of building strong, solid and durable houseboats. With this in mind, Domain was out of the water in 2025 with pontoons serviced; motor legs serviced; rear deck extended; new hydraulic duckboard; side boat boards extended; both with new rubber gunnels; and new Infinity Decking on the rear deck.

Domain has many pluses as a family holiday home. Firstly, the Cabin layout at Water Level provides a well appointed side kitchen; to the important rear lounge with very comfortable furniture opening onto the extended rear deck with the new larger hydraulic duckboard with the beautiful on the feet Infinity decking.

On the first storey level, to the front, there is a great space to sit around chat and sip some bubbles; enjoy a family BBQ or relax in the Sun. The quality electric sun awning can make the afternoon and evening most comfortable.

The big plus for a houseboat in this section of the market are the bedrooms and bathrooms. The Master Bedroom has a double walkaround rear view bed with importantly the full ensuite. Then there is the Parent’s Retreat for a quiet space overlooking the water. There are two other formal bedrooms sleeping up to 5 people plus a couch/sofa bed for when there are extras. The main Bathroom services these bedrooms and the living space at Water Level.

Domain has excellent Solar Technology for a houseboat in this section of the market. No need to spend money to upgrade. There is a top quality Victron Energy Multi-Plus 3000watt Inverter/Charger System together with the Victron Energy Smart Solar Charge Controller; 8+ 1 Solar Panels feeding into 1100ah of House Batteries. This is backed up by a quality Yanmar Mace Marine Generator. In this department, the other big plus is the twin Volvo Penta 4 cylinder diesel motors. The Legs have just been serviced. The diesel motors provide reliability and economical use.

Other pluses for a family holiday home to consider include the new Fisher & Paykel Washer/Dryer Machine; the new 7-stage Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System; the new efficient diesel heater; the Air-Conditioner on the first storey level and the stone benchtops in the kitchen.
