Sorrento has just been returned to the water after the pontoons were sandblasted and painted; the transom plate replaced, and the motor & leg serviced. The Big-Ticket maintenance items are taken care of.

Sorrento may have been originally built in 1963, however, in 2010 the then owners effectively rebuilt Sorrento to embrace a modern layout, contemporary décor and appliances and the latest technology whilst still retaining the distinctiveness of the ship-like appearance. One important alteration was raising the height of the ceiling to allow the large windows so you can embrace the magic of Lake Eildon inside the houseboat. The previous owners spent considerable money in 2010 to ensure Sorrento had the best available at that time (it owed the then owners close to the $1m mark, significant at that time). As stated, there are extensive photos of underneath the houseboat to allay any concerns of the condition of the structure of the houseboat. Plus, prepared to put you in contact with the business that undertook the sandblasting and painting of the pontoons. Invoices can be made available for the servicing of the motor and leg.
