WOW

Lake Eildon is very much about Family Times making those special memories that will last a lifetime. The design and layout of houseboats has evolved over the years to facilitate these wonderful Family Times.

When built in 2008 WOW introduced many new concepts to enable this and to fully embrace the Magic of Lake Eildon.

At Water Level, high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, new roller blinds and open plan with forward kitchen, dining, bar entertainment area, rear lounge and bi-fold rear doors opening up to embrace the extended rear deck and hydraulic duckboard. Here at Water Level is where all the action takes place, and everyone can enjoy it together.

The First Storey Level is about quieter times with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms which includes the Master with queen walkaround bed and full ensuite. Check out the magnificent views, you will be forgiven for relaxing in bed for a couple of extra hours.

The Top Deck provides a second all year round relaxation & entertainment space with remote helm, full kitchen and large BBQ. Enjoy the Sun on the front day beds or just imagine sitting up to dinner on a balmy Summer’s evening. You will feel like you are on top of the world, a real feeling of wow.

When building WOW, the then owners spared no expense. There are Caesar Stone Benchtops in the kitchens and entertainment areas throughout the houseboat. Tasmanian Myrtle Hardwood was used for the flooring. Only top quality appliances were used. There is R/C Air-conditioning at Water Level and in all the Bedrooms. The Blinds are all new. The furniture is made to relax on whilst being quality.

Most importantly, with the new houseboat size Regulations WOW took advantage of these and was extended in 2016. WOW has been extended to 24 feet in width with extra pontoons installed to add to the buoyancy. The rear deck was also extended (the Timber Decking is brand new) and with the electric sun awning making a great relaxation area even better. With front & rear side power thruster units, the Mercruiser 4.3lt V6 motor and the increased buoyancy WOW can be manoeuvred with minimal stress; no different to any large houseboat.

WOW has top of the range Solar Electrics. There is the Selectronic SP Pro Series Inverter/Charger System, plus 2 Victron Energy Phoenix Multi-plus 3000watt Inverter/Chargers, 24 Sun Stone Power Gel Batteries all being fed by 20 Solar panels on the roof. There is a new Onan 9.5kva Marine Diesel Generator to backup this system. Plenty of quality Power.
